Return & Cancellation Policy

1. All vehicle sales are final

Carco sells used vehicles that are purchased in person at our Newmarket, Ontario dealership. All vehicle sales are final. We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges once a sale has been completed.

2. No cooling-off period

Ontario law does not provide a statutory cooling-off period for vehicle purchases. A vehicle purchase becomes binding once the bill of sale or purchase agreement is signed. We encourage every buyer to fully inspect and test-drive a vehicle, and to review its history report and any safety certification, before completing a purchase.

3. Condition of vehicles

Used vehicles are sold on an as-is basis unless a safety standards certificate or a separate written guarantee is expressly provided as part of your purchase agreement. Any warranty or guarantee that applies to a specific vehicle will be stated in writing in that vehicle's purchase agreement.

4. Deposits

A deposit may be required to hold a vehicle. The terms of any deposit — including whether it is refundable — are set out in your individual purchase or consignment agreement and are explained to you before the deposit is taken.

5. Consignment vehicles

Some vehicles offered by Carco are sold on consignment on behalf of their owners. The sale terms for consigned vehicles are governed by the applicable consignment and purchase agreements.

6. Online listings

Vehicles shown on www.mycarco.ca and in our online advertising are listed for viewing and inquiry. Purchases are not completed online; they are finalized in person at our dealership. Online listings do not constitute an offer of sale and are subject to prior sale and to confirmation of price and availability.
